• We have a great team of 4 very experienced Equine vets including 2 certificate holders and together over 50 years of equine practice experience, with an excellent backup support team

• Our wide range of expertise includes lameness diagnosis and treatment ranging from minor to severe acute injuries and wounds to extensive knowledge of complex lameness cases, joint injections, treatment of kissing spines

• We have digital x ray, various ultrasound machines, gastroscope, endoscope, oral camera, shockwave etc allowing us to deal not just with routine but also investigate, diagnose and treat more complex cases

• We have a special expertise and considerable success in treating equine sarcoids with simple and cost effective pioneering treatments.  We have recently presented a paper on this and have been contacted by vets across the world looking for further information on our methods

• We have a special interest in dentistry, as well as offering a busy routine dental care service we also treat complex cases such as incisor and molar extractions, treatment of diastemas and other complex dental problems

• We run a busy stud at the clinic in the summer and offer services for AI with chilled and frozen semen for mares plus semen collection, preparation for shipping and freezing for stallions

• It’s never good when your horse gets colic but our vets have extensive knowledge and understanding of the best way to treat your horses in what can be a very stressful emergency situation

• We run and staff our own dedicated out of hours emergency service and someone from the practice is on call 24/7/365 to be there when you need us

• We are in regular contact with a range of visiting specialists in lameness, surgery, medicine, dentistry who regularly visit the clinic saving you the cost and worry of travelling your horse further away for treatment

• We are interested in preventative healthcare on an individual horse and herd basis and offer special programs and advice to help you
